A charming jumping pony weathervane retaining some of the original copper green paint. It has piercings used to highlight the pony’s shape and speed which makes a compelling image. The arrow is a continuation of stylised grass. Now mounted on a patinated brass rod set into a fruitwood base. English, circa 1925.
