A turned sycamore stool with three ash legs. Over the years it has gone the most glorious pale colour with almost a driftwood quality. The underside clearly shows that this is a turned top using a piece of sycamore over two inches thick. It is of a scale to be either a large stool or a small table. English, circa 1770.
