An early 19th century folk art painting of a boy brocking dogs in a kennel. The black and white dog appears to be growling at the boy’s hat, the white dog is showing interest while the brown and white dog is studiously trying to ignore the whole thing. In front of them are their bones and a terracotta water bowl. Their kennel has a pantiled roof which probably makes the painting East Anglian, circa 1820. Now in a blue faux tortoiseshell frame.
